She is such a sweet spirit and a joy to work with! I ALWAYS order the red/ blue velvet brownies and what makes her above the rest, she leaves that extra crunch for me that sets my taste buds ablaze! That lemon velvet cake though! God himself had a special touch when she makes that one! If you haven’t ordered yet,… WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR! Very reasonable pricing and always giving great customer service and communication! 10/10 definitely recommend!
Dooney's Pastries has never let me down! Last year they constantly came through when needed. In February, she made my daughter her custom My Hero Academia cake. When Thanksgiving rolled around, I ordered a Sweet Potato Pie, Red Velvet Cake , and a Pound Cake. For Christmas we ordered the Blue Velvet cake and Sweet Potato pies. My family and I loved it! She had everything for all occasions! When I get serious craving for sweets but don’t want to get a whole cake, the Red Velvet Brownies are my go to! I have used Dooney’s Pastries for the past 2 years for my daughter’s birthday parties and the cakes have always been delicious!!!! I have ordered cakes and treats (candy covered rice krispy treats, candy covered Oreos and candy covered pretzels) everyone has loved them!!! Very professional and quick responding!! Let me first start out by saying the owner of Dooney’s Pastries is the sweetest soul, she is beautiful inside and out. She is very much a business woman and treats all of her customers with so much love and respect, her customer service skills are out of this world and the love that she has for what she does, you see, smell and taste in her baking. what she does is truly a gift and an art. I always order her pounds cakes and baby, I love a good pound cake and honestly thought I had tasted a few until, I had the pleasure of ordering one of her pound cakes and let me just say I refuse to go Anywhere else. Her cakes literally take me back to my childhood with my great grandmother. I’ve never had a cake give me nostalgia, but this is what she does, she pours her heart and soul into her cakes and her craft and it shows. I’ve also had the pleasure of eating her red velvet with her from scratch icing and let me just say again pure perfection. I am not even an icing type of girl, But after trying her red velvet and icing I was hooked and again, she is the only one I trust my taste buds with when it comes to cakes. I introduced my family and friends to her baking and let me just be honest with you, I have to fight them off when I order my pound cake. Dooney’s pastries is truly a hidden gem that I feel like everyone shouldn’t know about and I would recommend Dooney’s pastries to anyone. One order, One taste and you’re hooked. ♥️
